History

Grant Property is now well established in helping people to invest in traditional residential UK property.

As a letting agent, Grant Management has a wealth of experience.   

1996       Company founded by Peter and Colette Grant, using redundancy money.
1999Head office opens in Edinburgh's St Stephen Street - just 4 staff.
2000A foothold in the West - new office opens in Glasgow.
2001Company awarded Investors in People accreditation. 150 properties under management.
2002Become NHBC registered and start first ‘new build' project. Complete 200th renovation. 230 properties under management.
2003Expand to Stirling and Dundee. Buy Central Letting. Staff up to 55. Complete 400th renovation. Named ‘Professional Services Company of the Year'.
2004Today, Grant Management has almost 1200 properties under management with plans to expand into Newcastle.
2005The company is now fully operational in Newcastle and has expanded into Bristol. The head office has moved to a larger premises in the West End of Edinburgh at 14 Coates Crescent, Edinburgh, EH3 7AF. t: 0131 220 6360
2006January 2006 finalised agreement on £100 million joint venture fund between Grant Management and HBoS. The company is now fully operational in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham. Staff up to 85.  
2007
January 2007 and a second £100 million joint venture property fund agreed. Staff now up to 125 and expand into 13 Coates Crescent to accommodate. Grant Management is now fully operational in Nottingham and Salford. Grant Management achieve Edinburgh Landlord Accreditation, Birmingham Accreditation, Manchester Council Accreditation, Unipol accreditation in Nottingham. 
 2008

 April 2008, Grant Property and Edinburgh's Queen Margaret University work together to promote 'living carbon neutral'. A competition to design a mural to celebrate the relationship and promote living carbon neutral was opened to the students in 2007, sponsored by Grant Property. The winning mural was unveiled on 10th April and well received by all.

 2009Grant Property now has almost 2,000 properties under management. During 2009, Grant Property has taken on a huge number of private landlords in addition to continuing to help people invest in residential property across the UK.
 2010

Grant Property open a new office in Heaton, Newcastle. The office is situated on the popular Chillingham Road. Visitors are welcome of course.

August 2010 Grant Property announce buy back of shares from Bank of Scotland and new senior management team with Debbie Rummens as MD. 

September 2010 Grant Property announce the launch of their iPhone App, enabling people to search for houses and flats to rent whilst on the move.
