Letting Negotiator- Edinburgh

The Letting Negotiator will be a key member of the Lettings Team providing exceptionally high standard of service to the landlord and tenant.

The Letting Negotiator will be responsible for the letting and occupancy of the properties throughout Grant Property in the UK while achieving a minimum of 40% conversion and 95% sales occupancy across our portfolio).

You will be based Edinburgh, however you will be required to be operational across all our locations when the demand requires.

+        To be involved in the initial lettings strategy

+        Carry out viewings, both virtual and in person

+        Carry out pre marketing inspections to ensure properties are “ready to let”

+        Responsible for ensuring properties achieve competitive rent

+        Negotiating terms of lets with landlords and tenants

+        Achieve and maintain 95% Occupancy level

+        Achieve and maintain 40% conversion rate

+        Assist with the marketing of the properties

+        Able to work to set department and team targets


+        Networking and lead generation

+        Tenant retention following on from rent increase notices and tenant notices

+        Cross selling to help tenants who are vacating to secure an alternative Grant Property properties.

+        Actively seeking referrals from existing clients





+        Ensure high service levels are maintained at all times

+        Provide prospective tenant with smooth and highly efficient application process


Play on the Team

+ You are expected to fully participate in the Edinburgh Property Management Department and wider Grant Property Team and be flexible in your approach to team playing. Ideas and innovations which will develop the service levels, efficiency and profitability of the business are actively encouraged.

+ Attend (either in person or virtually) and fully participate in morning and weekly meetings and quarterly all-staff days.
