Summer Internship - Edinburgh

We have a strong presence across the UK, we operate in 8 cities which includes Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, and Bristol. With clients across 40 countries Worldwide.

Our one-stop service encompasses property sourcing, renovation, furnishing and management. As a business we do two things; we help clients invest well and we create safe and affordable homes to rent.

The role

We can offer up to 5 internships between May and September, to help Property Management and Investment during our busiest months. The positions will be suitable for individuals seeking business experience. Our internships aim to give you practical business experience.

The internship will involve spending time in our Property Management and Investment departments. There will be a mixture of training, job shadowing and carrying out tasks within the teams.

The position offers a salary of £17,550 pro rata.

Skills and attributes:

  • Currently studying a business degree
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • An interest in the Property and Investment industry
  • Good organisational skills

Department Duties

Day 1 – Meet with Directors, tour of office, introductions, IT and HR Induction.

May – September


  • Lettings Support: Inbound and outbound sales calls, arrange virtual and physical viewings, marketing and rent increases.
  • Lettings Negotiator: Virtual and physical viewings, pre-marketing inspections, negotiating terms and tenant retention
Applications/Move Ins


  • Processing new tenants applications and referencing.
  • Complete all pre move in checks e.g. “right to rent” checks
  • Work alongside Let Alliance
  • Generate Tenancy Agreements
  • Update SME.
  • Undertake inspections of properties
  • Complete Fire Risk Assessments
  • Check void properties in line with Insurance requirements.
  • Preparing and diarising Inventory and Move Out inspections.
  • Support the Repairs Team with site visits
  • Project work
